Master James Ross Rawley grew up in the Leather scene the traditional way - he started at the bottom and worked his way up. He started his journey as a slave, serving in that role from 1977 - 1999. He progressed to the role of Trainer in 2000, and in 2004 was covered as a Master.

 

He enjoys and teaches many SM techniques - Percussion/Impact Play, Single Tail, Rope Bondage, Leather Restraints and more. Master James also has extensive experience with, and teaches about Master/slave relationships, and the Leather Lifestyle in general.

 

Over the years of his journey in Leather, Master James has embodied the spirit of service that is the heart of Leather. He has volunteered, taught and organized for numerous events and communities along the way. Highlights include:

 

Presenter for AIDS Committee of Toronto’s Safer SM Project 1995-99

Presenter at Rio Grande Leather - 2005, 2009, 2010

Presenting for numerous events in Los Angeles, CA 2007-Present

Co-Founder LA Kink Exploration Society Los Angeles, CA 2008

Stockroom University Faculty – 2010 – Present

Program Co-Chair Leather Leadership XV Los Angeles 2011

Appearing as a presenter on the E! Special: The Real 50 Shades of Grey (2013)

 

Master James Ross Rawley's life and experiences have been diverse in scope, from Canada to across the US. He is married to Queen Raini, a covered Master in her own right, and together they have created House of Rawley in the Atlanta, Georgia area where they teach and mentor Leatherfolk seeking more knowledge.
