Spartans L/L, Palmetto Adventures
JP was introduced to the Leather scene in 1985, and was mentored by Lee Cromer. The first Leather event JP remembers attending was a Tradesmen's run where they held the SE Drummer contest. He was a member of the Spartans L/L club, serving terms as their Secretary and Vice President. He also served as Secretary for Palmetto Adventures.
JP claims to be "slightly innocent and somewhat mischievous." He started his journey as a boy to learn, and he has now grown up and turned into... something. JP usually identifies as "just a bad uncle" here.
JP grew up before the AIDS epidemic, and has helped out where he could and loved his chosen family. He has been partnered for almost 19 years with his cub, Michael, who was NC Leatherboy 2003 and Southeast Leatherboy 2003. JP had to step back from the scene for a while for health reasons, but now his health is better and he's glad to be back in the community, having fun and raising hell.
