We ARE BACK! SAVE THE DATE!
November 4 - 6, 2022
LHPW 2022 will be a weekend of shared journeys, camaraderie and fellowship, with multiple presenters sharing their experiences. In the tradition of the best of Leather events, there will be cocktails, play time, vendors, networking and FUN!
Meet our 2022 Keynote Meet Our 2022 Historians
We are so grateful that our historians agreed to share their experiences with us for 2022, and are
delighted to be able to be with them this year.
Please use the above links (coming soon) to view the folx who agreed to share their stories with us!
Also, through remote access, we are trying to make it possible for some of them to attend our 2022 event.
Full Weekend and Saturday Only preregistrations include the Saturday night dinner and keynote history, event pin, access to all our history sessions, vendors, and all the social and networking opportunities the event provides!
Thanks to our NEW host hotel and negotiations for the contract, we were able to hold the line on the registration costs for LHPW 2022!
Registration price for the 2022 event is tiered, the earlier you register, the more you will save! Starting July 25, our Opening Sale will last a week, and is a bargain at $75.00! August 2nd the Opening Sale ends, and regular registration of $85.00 begins. Late registration is $100.00, begins October 8th and goes until preregistration ends Oct. 30th.
The sooner you register, the more you save!
We will be offering a GROUP REGISTRATION option. If you want to register 5 - 10 people at one time, you have the option to do so now. The group registration rate will be $80 for each person, with a minimum charge of $400. Groups larger than 10 can be broken up over multiple registration sessions.
All full weekend pre-registrations also include your annual membership in the Leather History Preservation Foundation.
There will be day passes available for preregistration if you can not attend all weekend. Pre-registration for Saturday also includes the dinner and keynote! Onsite registration will be available, however, please note: onsite registration for the full weekend and for Saturday Only day passes WILL NOT INCLUDE THE DINNER AND KEYNOTE. Because of our catering contract, we have to have a firm head count for dinners the week before the event.
Weekend Crew Opportunities
Leather History Preservation Weekend could not happen without a great deal of work! Our dedicated Board and staff need a lot of crew members to help make everything happen. From load-in to load-out, we need event security, dungeon crew, room monitors, ASL interpreters, hospitality helpers and more! Everyone chips in to make this event happen, but we do offer crew a discount on event registration. If you would like to learn more about these opportunities for our 2022 event, contact:
Our primary Crew Coordinator,
Sir Malcavian - director.malcavian@lhpfoundation.org or
MsTori - exec.director@lhpfoundation.org
Thanks to our friends and family of the heart at
SOUTHEAST LEATHERFEST, we did not have to re-invent the wheel when it comes to creating a policy to protect the health and safety of our historians, attendees, and crew! With their kind permission, we are pretty much copying their 2022 event policy.
Leather History Preservation Weekend is a fully vaccinated event. Every person who attends must show proof of vaccination before they will be given their badge. There will be NO REFUNDS, NO EXCEPTIONS.
The LHPF board of directors defines fully vaccinated as you having received: 1) both doses of either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine; 2) had the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine; and 3) Astra-Zeneca, and other non-north American vaccination qualify (two injections are considered completion). Boosters are highly recommended.
